Randy (Maintenance Man)
This handsome fellow is a natural problem-solver who has spent his life taking things apart to put them back together again, wrenching on motorcycles and cars, and putting smiles on people’s faces with his gregarious and comical commentary.
In Des Moines, Iowa, Randy worked as a print color analyst. His role required being on-site with his clients, so when Holly brought up the idea of pulling up stakes, he decided to retire early and go for it!
And Holly is super happy he did, because when we’re not exploring or having fun, Randy can be found maintaining our equipment or fixing whatever problem has decided to pop onto the list.
Holly (Adventure Planner)
This cutie pie is a creative spirit who is always up for a challenge—whether in the form of a trail run race, an archery shootout, raising puppies, starting a busienss from scratch, or tackling a rocky hill on her dirt bike.
Holly decided to navigate the way of entrepreneurship after leaving her Art Director position at a printing company in Cedar Falls (Iowa) and moving to Des Moines to live in the same place as Randy. (circa 2016)
Holly now runs her branding + graphic design business from the camper and is our designated travel planner—finding cool places to call “home” for awhile, plotting our routes, and then adjusting our plans last-minute when obstacles or opportunities arise.
